Melinda on the Beach
Melinda teaches kids each day
But now she's here to ride the waves
The surf is high so I show off
Dolphins play and we take off
Backwash hits but we don't care
Bailing out the salty air
Riding Bombora like it's free
Melinda laughs right next to me
On the beach we make our stand
Rocks and rolls beneath the sand
Cutback sharp like a blade
Melinda's here
We're not afraid
Sun's high
Boards beneath our feet
Glide on swells
Ain't that sweet
Whip and ride
Swirl around
Melinda’s smile
Never down
In the golden light we gleam
Like a never-ending dream
Waves crash
We just fly
Riding high
Chasing the sky
Rock and roll
Surf's our tune
Morning sun til afternoon
Melinda's joy
I see it grow
Together through the ebb and flow
